RAVEL - Boléro
SAINT-SAËNS - Symphony No 3, Organ Symphony

French composer Saint-Saëns was at the peak of his career when he wrote his popular Organ Symphony, featuring an ingenious use of the organ along with other keyboard instruments He said of the work, “What I have here accomplished, I will never achieve again." Chicago pianist Winston Choi returns by popular demand to perform Saint-Saëns' unique and light-hearted Piano Concerto No. 2, his most popular. A showcase of instruments carry the haunting tune in Ravel’s famous Boléro as it builds to its ascendant conclusion.

"The combined sound of the organ
and the orchestra is overwhelming!
Bolero will "get you!"
